Ghost are we mad ? Pt1 lets keep this real

Ghosts.... a subject for the insane!! A subject for those with over active imaginations!! Something you personally believe in? Something that other people that are a bit daft believe in? A subject of fiction.... or a subject of misguided fact?
Let me give you what I know through investigation over the last decade and more.
Many people in many cultures believe or have witnessed 'ghosts' even science admits that 'ghosts' are real, but.. here’s the question, what is a ghost?
  • Is a ghost a person thing animal that haunts?
  • Is a ghost something to do with Psycho kinesis?
  • Is a ghost some sort of recording replayed by the fabric of a building or environment?
  • Is a ghost something to do with the way your brain interprets the environment or various chemicals being released as a result of all of the above in your brain causing you to experience something that isn't actually real.
The term Ghost is confirmed as real phenomena, but what is a 'ghost
I will do my best to try and explain my thoughts for you... but who am I?
I'm en ex police officer who has encountered something strange, and ever since has devoted over a decade to the research, investigation of the phenomena.
I’m not here to convince you, simply share my thoughts on the subject.
Here goes.
Firstly I would like to separate Ghosts from Spirits they are completely different.
  • Spirits seem to be the presence or communication from people that have died,
  • Ghosts seem to be something else, or unconscious spirits :-o
  • Not all people become Spirits / Ghosts it doesn't happen by proxy,
  • Not even tragic circumstance will equate to a ghost or spirit.
There are many reports of 'Ghosts' being seen in old buildings, ancient battle fields etc. did you know that 80% of ghosts are seen in the daytime!
So let’s forget the ghosts at night in a thunderstorm in some creepy remains of an old building. The facts would suggest you are more likely to see, interact with a ghost in the light of day in a location completely unexpected. Although I would still say that 'Ghosts' are creatures of habit as many people over a period of time will report the same of similar phenomena, with this in mind how many of us have experienced a 'ghost' but thought nothing of it or perhaps simply didn't notice anything odd?
Perhaps this is far more common than we expected.
ok so my ghost hunters guide to seeing a ghost would be, read lots of peoples reports, paying attention to their account of the date time and environment, then go see for yourself,
Am I willing to take one persons report as absolute proof of a ghost... no and nor should you.
I would urge you to view this as we would something like being on jury service, if one person told you they has a ghost encounter in a building.. does that make ghosts real or the building haunted... No.
Ok if a group of people all experienced the same ghost experience at the same time... Would this make it believable...? No there are many questions to ask of it.
however to go to 'beyond reasonable doubt' if I presented to you the jury, a some individual witness testimonies, a  few group statements, some photographs spanning the last few years, a bit of video and some audio recordings, we are getting closer to you personally believing that something is odd more than everybody is nuts !
I often get asked 'do I believe in Ghosts'? Well after many years of research and investigations in the countries most reportedly haunted locations with some of the people in the absolute top of their field on the subject I can say unashamedly yes I believe. After seeing so many of them it’s rude to deny that they are real.
However what I expected is perhaps strangely different from the beginning to now, at first I expected something like King Henry the VIII to show up or a horseman with his head under his arm and to be terrified to the point of having to do emergency laundry. Unfortunately of fortunately it never seems to be like that, remember what really scares us (well me) is being out of control of what happens next... Something may harm us in someway. We are seeing something horrific… When actually we can observe something way more subtle than that. An example would be, on a visit to Pevensey castle I witnessed with another person a strange human shape walking across the grass about 20yds in front of us, the movement of the figure didn't match the expected momentum (walking normally but advancing rapidly) as soon as I took my eyes off of it to reach for a camera it vanished, we both looked at each other asking "did you see that"
